Comments by Anne-Marie Carter McAuslan: The second time trial of the season occurred last night with four riders starting. There was a northeast breeze which did not seem as helpful as it should have been on the way back and the temperature was a cool 12 to 10 degrees. Riders found it to be "hard" night. The fastest was Mark Miller.
The next Time Trial will be on May 24 starting at 7:00pm with sign-in starting at 6:30pm.
The road clean up of part of Tatlock Road is on May 18 at 6:00pm meeting at Union Hall. This should only take an hour depending on the number of volunteers. Please confirm with Bob Woods at bacwoods@storm.ca that you will be volunteering.
The next official ABC ride is on May 21, meeting at 9am at the Almonte Arena with a destination of Perth. You must be a club member to participate. Please email mcauslan@rogers.com or leshum@magma.ca if you intend to participate in this ride.
The first 40 km Time Trial is on June 5 meeting in Franktown at the Christian Academy Parking lot from 7:30am with the watch starting at 8:15am. Please let Anne-Marie or Dave (613)452-0981 mcauslan@rogers.com or Les Humphreys (613) 256-2498 leshum@magma.ca to inform us of your intention to ride.
